In this role, you’ll balance strategic thinking with hands-on analysis to secure long-term value and operational excellence. Based in Lund, Sweden

Who is your future team?
You will join the Cross Functional Projects & Systems team, an team within the Operations organization. We drive impactful change by managing cross-functional initiatives, overseeing the Operations project portfolio, and ensuring strong business system product ownership and solutions.

Our work strengthens Operations in delivering on its mission and long-term strategy while contributing directly to Axis’ global efficiency and success.
The team is part of Operations Development, a diverse group of 20+ specialists with expertise in Supply Chain & Operations Management, Digital Transformation, Project Management, Innovation, Contract Management, and Analytics.

What you’ll do as a Business Solution Architect
As a Business Solution Architect, your mission is to bridge operational challenges with the right technical opportunities and scalable solutions. You will move between strategic thinking and hands-on, detailed analysis—connecting business needs, system capabilities, and long-term development paths.

You will work closely with operational teams to understand processes, improvement opportunities, and future ambitions. Together, you will shape solutions that solve current challenges while strengthening Axis for tomorrow.

You will also collaborate deeply with Business Systems Product Owners (BPOs), other Business Solution Architects, and our IT organization. This role truly requires one foot in business and one in systems, with a broad and strong supply chain & operations domain perspective and the ability to navigate between architecture, product development, and operational realities.

Your time will be split between:

  • Contributing as a key resource in transformative projects
  • Driving and supporting improvement initiatives
  • Participating in system product development, roadmap work, and architecture alignment

Strong ERP knowledge is essential, and experience with IFS and/or MS Dynamics 365 is a strong plus.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead the end-to-end solution process — from need intake and requirements to use cases, documentation, testing (scenarios & execution), and validation of outcomes.
  • Define clear goals and deliverables for initiatives — including measurable targets, expected results, and supporting business cases (ROI, cost–benefit).
  • Design and document solution concepts—including process flows, integration maps, and architectural diagrams—that align with our system landscape and long-term strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with business functions, BPOs, IT, vendors, and consultants to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned across the organization.
  • Evaluate and investigate development potential in our ERP platform, and its interaction with surrounding best of breed systems supporting Demand & Supply Planning, Transportation Management, Supplier Collaboration, to name a few.
  • Assess ERP change requests together with requesters, IT, and BPOs, and propose the best way forward.
  • Contribute to our digital roadmap by ensuring that tools, processes, and data models evolve in line with future needs.
  • Support analytics development by providing domain insights and input for BI solutions and data management.
  • Provide solution expertise from a product/business requirements perspective regarding integrations, system features, and data structures—while also stepping up to provide tactical and strategic direction.
  • Contribute actively in agile product (ERP) development: backlog refinement, prioritization, roadmap planning, and solution validation.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and solution proposals that keep the end user and required business capabilities in focus.
  • Act as a project resource or workstream lead in major initiatives within Operations.

Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English are essential.

We expect you to have:

  • A relevant university degree (minimum B.Sc.) or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience in system and process development
  • Experience working in or closely with Supply Chain in a global environment
  • Hands-on experience with supply chain platforms/systems
  • Strong ERP experience (IFS or Dynamics 365 is a plus)
  • Proven experience with product ownership, agile delivery, backlog and roadmap work
  • Experience with solution blueprinting (process diagrams, architecture artifacts, requirements documentation)
  • Understanding of system integrations and data flows
  • Advantageous: experience from ERP implementations or major enhancement programs
